Talent AdvantEdge has highly experienced HR professionals to lead coaching and training to help people prepare for joining and leaving working life.
For young people, we help navigate the tricky transition from education into working life and assist with identifying the best career or job choices based on their natural strengths that make them similar to, or different to, their family, friends, classmates and colleagues and influence how well they ‘fit’ with others and different activities or work.
Talent AdvantEdge uses the unique Ignition! tool to help young people gain a greater understanding of who they are and what they are great at. This helps them make key life decisions such as subject choices and jobs that they’d be best at and has been designed for ages eight upwards – it’s excellent for young people and adults alike.
At Talent AdvantEdge, we believe in ‘paying it forward’ so we provide opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by donating places on our programmes or with CV support. We actively seek support from local businesses to fund places for people in their community who could use a helping hand.
For those planning to leave the workforce, Talent AdvantEdge recognises that people often forget the ‘life’ planning aspects of retirement. We work with individuals and couples and assist them in deciding ‘what next’ so that they ‘renew’ as well as ‘retire’ and plan a fulfilling life after work!
Talent AdvantEdge shows you the route to recognising what you’re naturally good at. Follow your own individual path to feeling great and finding the path that will suit you best so that you make the right choices now and start a career that works for you.
"Jaine Edge knows how to make a difference in young people's lives. She generously shares her skills and deep understanding of people so that young adults can feel good about what makes them tick, what makes them different, what makes them wonderful."
Jaine has been working in companies and in her own consultancy for more than 25 years, much of this time in Human Resources, training and coaching. Jaine has worked all over the world and for privately owned and multi-national brand icons in the UK and Australia, including senior roles at British Airways and IKEA. She sees lots of workplace issues and knows that many result from lack of knowledge and communication.
Last year Jaine began fostering for the Department of Communities in Perth, WA and cares for two beautiful young people on both a respite and regular basis. This experience along with her career led to this venture; Jaine has always had a passion for developing people and is committed to helping young people identify their strengths, figure out their personal direction and successfully transition from education into working life.
Over the last few years, Jaine has also worked with many individuals and couples at the other end of their working lives and considering retirement. She’s personally witnessed people successfully planning and making the transition and unfortunately those who have not. As there is a clear link to mental health and wellbeing, it’s another way Jaine is committed to help people achieving the life they want to lead.
Jaine has a down to earth style and builds trust quickly. Her coaching and programmes are fun and engaging and she works hard to make sure that everyone takes away practical skills and experience that they can use in every area of their life.
